About Us
Wuxi Zhongshi Machinery Co., Ltd. (formerly Wuxi Zhongqiao Textile Machinery Parts Factory) began developing suspended-spindle roving flyers in 1984 and initiated the development of a new type of supported-spindle roving flyers in 1998. Through years of unremitting effort, Zhongshi Flyers has achieved a leading position within the domestic industry across six key areas: innovation, quality, product variety and specifications, production output, market coverage, and export volume. In 1998, the company received a Product Recommendation Certificate from the China Textile Machinery & Accessories Industry Association, establishing itself as a renowned specialized manufacturer of roving flyers in China.
Zhongshi Flyers offers two main series—suspended-spindle and supported-spindle—encompassing over fifty distinct varieties and specifications. These products serve as original equipment components for all domestic roving machine manufacturers in China, and the company also supplies flyers compatible with roving machines produced by leading international brands such as TOYOTA, HOWA, RIETER, ZINSER, MARZOLI, and INGOLSTADT. The company boasts an annual production capacity of 240,000 sets of suspended-spindle flyers and 120,000 sets of supported-spindle flyers. Its products are exported to developing nations across Southeast Asia, West Asia, Africa, and the Americas.
Grounded in high technology, Zhongshi Flyers utilized the Finite Element Method as early as 1995 to conduct dynamic stress and strain analyses on its suspended-spindle flyers, thereby achieving an optimized design capable of reaching rotational speeds of up to 1600–1800 rpm. By employing Schenck vertical dual-plane dynamic balancing machines and utilizing a weight-removal method to calibrate the flyers, the company ensures high balancing precision; this results in minimal vibration and low noise levels from the roving machines during high-speed operation. Zhongshi Flyers pays meticulous attention to the roving passage channel; through a proprietary process involving over ten distinct technical "know-hows"—ranging from the preparation of high-precision stainless steel tubing, forming, and internal surface inspection to final finishing treatments—the company guarantees that, upon initial installation, the flyers require no further channel adjustments and enable successful roving production right from the very first run. The ZS100 Series Suspended-Spindle Flyers represent a new generation of flyers meticulously developed by Zhongshi Company in response to the demands of textile mills to reduce roving hairiness and yarn defects, and to produce high-quality roving. A key feature of this series is that, immediately after passing through the outlet of the flyer's hollow arm, the roving engages with the presser arm and—guided by the yarn guide hole—is wound directly onto the bobbin. This design eliminates the "free section" found in traditional flyers—where the roving is subjected to the impact of high-velocity airflow after exiting the hollow arm—thereby effectively reducing hairiness and yarn defects.
The ZS200 Series Supported-Spindle Flyers are an upgraded replacement product specifically developed by Zhongshi Company for the A454 and A456 models of roving frames. The flyer body is constructed from high-strength aluminum alloy, while the roving channel utilizes either open- or closed-type stainless steel tubing; the assembly is complemented by precision-cast stainless steel pressers and specially engineered polyurethane false-twisters. This configuration proves highly effective in reducing yarn defects and hairiness, minimizing end breaks, and lowering variations in roving elongation.
